Chances are that you often wear your Fitbit Sense watch during sporting activities. That's why our range of Fitbit Sense straps largely consists of wristbands that are very suitable for sports. A Milanese band for the Fitbit Sense To run a scan, make sure you have the Sense secured well so that it can record your heart rate accurately, then swipe left, select ‘EDA scan’ and place your free hand over its face for two minutes. You’ll feel a gentle vibration when the scan begins and another when it’s completed. The fewer EDA responses the watch records, the calmer you (probably) are. The color display (covered with Gorilla Glass) is bright, sharp and responsive. Swiping to the right reveals various settings, including access to sleep mode, which dims the screen and deactivates vibrations, volume, screen brightness, always-on screen, and do-not-disturb mode. Swiping down from any screen will reveal a shade containing your notifications, which can be customized in the Fitbit app. Let’s talk about those improvements. First off, we’re getting better Google integration with Google Maps and Google Wallet. Both of these are huge, but especially the latter, given how poorly supported Fitbit Pay is in the UK. But at the time of writing neither had arrived, so it doesn’t help the Fitbit Sense 2’s appeal much in the here and now. The Sense also features on-board GPS, so you can map out your runs, walks and bike rides without the need to carry a phone. The GPS will only be activated if you select the correct workout mode manually (it won't be activated if the device detects that you've begun exercising by itself), but this makes sense as it conserves battery life.

That said, the Sense 2 is a fun, functionality filled fitness watch that can help you gain more insights into your health statistics. This could be turning the Fitbit Sense 2 off and on, or your phone. This is not a feature that the Fitbit Versa offers, and you yourself can decide on the relevance of such a feature in your life. Fitbit devices have always played somewhat fast and loose with GPS accuracy, and the Sense 2 fares really poorly here. The EDA sensor here is an important factor when it comes to difference. The workout benefits are great, but you don't live on the running trail. The battery can last up to six days between charges, but lasts more like two with the screen on all the time, calls and notifications turned on, and using some of the more advanced health monitoring features.
