The case is metallic, very sturdy, the buttons are quality ones, easy to access (it could require an initial learning curve to get use to the distances between them) and allow us to access the patches or the effects as needed. This allows for full access to all channels and expands foot switching for all BANK A/B and all 8 CHANNELS+PANEL of the KATANA MK2 amps. Featuring status LEDs with two colours to make seeing changes easier for users, the GA-FC EX comes with two dedicated expression pedal jacks along with an additional control jack with a three-way mode selector.

Compatible footswitches are the BOSS FS-5U, FS-6, FS-7 (the FS-6 and FS-7 dual-footswitches should be run from the individual A/B outputs, and should be switched to ‘momentary’ control mode). This means if you set your switches and pedals to act one way on the CH-1 patch, then switch to the CH-2 patch - those assignable functions may be different if you didn't set those up the same way. You'll get access to two different tap tempo switches, as well as separate Reverb, Delay, FX, Modulation and Booster controls. Over and above those control applications - you also have a much improved interface - now featuring dual colour LED's versus just the Red of the GA-FC - so it's easier to observer exactly what's happening and what is being impacted - you have more obvious granular access to functions - and you have new ability to combine two footswitches via dual-press to effect even more clever Control functions. Whether you want to expand your control with an additional footswitch or operate more than one amp, the GA-FC EX has you covered.

You can change the function of each with the footswitch at the end for exceptional control over your rig at all times.

If your goods develop a fault within the warranty period, we'll quickly repair or replace the item for you. If you want to keep your hands on your axe at all times, the GA-FC Foot Controller lets you drive Roland amps from the floor.
